ERIK is rad. He has a lot of thoughtful things to say about fiction and history and culture and faith and things! I don’t have much conversational energy lately but I look back with fondness upon our discussions of old. I think it is hexcellent that he is working so much on his Brittle Kingdoms story :> he’s putting impressive amounts of work into the worldbuilding and actually doing comic pages now and that is great! Erik’s art style reminds me of, like, ancient bas-reliefs and things and I think that’s working really well with the Brittle Kingdoms story. :> I will admit I’m not that fond of straight-up cultural expies in fiction, but he is making his work, and well.
He is another pal who I worry about sometimes, but he’s mentioned doing a lot better lately, and I’m so glad for that. I hope it keeps up, and that dickbutts from old forums stop harassing him already?? I WILL FIND U AND PUNCH U IN THE BUTT, DICKBUTT ANONS
