on the one hand i’m enthused about this because scots viking jews is a hilarious idea and thinking of berk as populated by jewish people is gr8
on the other hand i’m enthused because holy shit!!! stories about jews!!! in fantasy settings!!!!! where it’s still important to everyone on berk but the core of the story is still growing up and learning to be okay with different kinds of people (& different kinds of masculinity and femininity) and dealing with disabilities and friendships and that’s so good, i want stories like that, i want so many more than the world has given me
why is how to train your dragons not actually full of jewish people
